outdoor haircut

At the night market you can buy sheets and other assorted dongxi, cheap radios, barbecued meat on a stick, or get a haircut under the stars.

    Ron, etc: Could be.

Shawn: Where’s your sense of adventure? Thanks for the props.

Tom: Welcome. Good questions. I’m going to guess less than $1 US.

  6. Hi Steve,

Glad to find the new site – it looks great. As does this photo – you really know how to capture shots that are really interesting.

Now that I’m back in Australia, I’m missing the cheap haircuts! I used to pay 5 yuan for a great haircut. I haven’t had one here yet, but I’m guessing it’s going to cost 15 to 20 times as much. :(

    Thanks Brian, and welcome.

Stephen: Nice to see you again! I pay 35 RMB for my haircuts, that includes the hour-long hair wash and massage.

  8. We have that too from where I came from. Dirt cheap, and very effective for guys who like to cut and run. They don’t provide washing service, unless if you are willing to be washed with rainwater, or worse, ditch water.

It costs USD 0.60 to USD 1. Depending on the location. Stinkier spots are cheaper.
