My days of pimping products and crap for PPP and other ridiculous web outfits are over. Yeah, I’ll miss the easy cash but I do have morals. Bearing the previous statements in mind, I’ll admit the rest of this post is a giant advertisement.
Why, Sti Fu? Why? Because: This is something I use, happily. I want you, all of you, to get a blog host.
To My Fellow Bloggers: Are your words and images that unimportant they only deserve sub-domain status? Do you really want your URL to be http://hotchick.wordpress.com? No, you need a good blog host. Read the full story

RT Cunningham at Untwisted Vortex, uncrowned prince of the blogosphere, has been as busy as a beaver as of late.
Last week he posted some great articles on improving your blog.
Want to know how to use Feedburner to offer RSS updates by email? RT is the man to see. Check out info on the Top of the Blogs, a new ranking service . Heard about Stumpedia? It is a new human-powered search engine. RT has been there and lived to tell the tale.
RT is a knowledgeable guy that I met through Carrie at My Several Worlds. The man knows blogging and WordPress. Give him a click and learn a lot.

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is every wasted.” – Aesop
A big thank you to all that donated to the China Earthquake Relief Fund, either through my sidebar donate button, or your own means.
With your help, and that of my colleagues, we have raised just over $200 US. It will be forwarded today, with the rest of the funds the school has raised. This isn’t the end of the appeal. I’ll leave the button up for a few more days and forward any contributions to the Chinese Red Cross for their continued work during in earthquake relief.
The older students are a little “freaked out.” Seeing destroyed schools on the news, something concrete they can relate to, has them feeling sad and worried. We can listen, console, and muddle on.
“Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” – Mark Twain
UPDATE: The students and staff of my school raised more than 400,000 Yuan (more than $57,000 USD) for the relief fund.

Carrie at My Several Worlds found out last week all the content on her blog had been stolen and posted elsewhere without crediting her. She, in her own words, was pissed.
She did some research and took actions. I suggest everyone read her post on how she solved the problem and busted the spammer.

The deathless words and advice of intrepid traveler, photographer, and uber-brave blogger Stevo are posted at My Several Worlds. I have been welcomed as a guest author with an article on planning ahead for better travel photographs.
Globetrotteri and her Several Worlds was one of the first expat blogs I found in April when I entered this brave, new world. She has been encouraging and incredibly kind. Her experience in Asia is vast; she’s been everywhere. Her site is the place to go for articles and photographs of Thailand, Cambodia, Taiwan, and Japan. She also runs the Taiwan Photographers site which features great shutterbugs from the island nation.
Check out my article, and the rest of her incredible site. Thanks Globetrotteri.
