The Kowloon Mosque and Islamic Association seems out of place among the electronic shops, tailors, and hostels of The Golden Mile, on Nathan Road (Hong Kong). The dome and minaret dominate their own little piece of skyline, backing onto the large green space of Kowloon Park. It is an interesting site to see in the morning hours, before the sky fills with haze.

They have mosques in Hong Kong? (Do I sound like a total idiot asking that question?)

Yes, Wanda. Hong Kong is a melting pot. There are also many Muslims in northwest China. Their cuisine is delicious.

I love that sky. And the birds perched on top of the mosque.
