Very nice. It does look like he’s lost in the crowd, and in thought. I like that the brightness of his clothing is right in the middle of that photo. Kind of makes him less lost in that same crowd!

This is almost like a collage, and it seems effortless, but you caught a strange juxtaposition of contrasting characters. The woman looks to be on the back of the military man’s bike. In the background, it looks like an American walking toward, and then there is the young monk, about to pass the school children’s who seem particularly clustered together, particularly close, the one looking over the other’s shoulder at this boy with the strange dignity whose too young still to quite hide the expression of being aware of those girls, of his otherness next to them.

Corina: He does stand out, doesn’t he.

amuirin: As I shot this I couldn’t believe my luck. I often “monk stalk” but it was great to have all the activity happening at once. I wish the image had been clearer.

Shawn: Isn’t everyone? Except the observer trying to capture it.

    Bones: Yes. Tres young.
